Pharmacy Manager Services is needed to perform the following duties:
Execute market research relating to over-the-counter products to determine the potential increase in sales.

· In addition, the Pharmacy Management service will support the drug claim review process including manual drug review, reporting, interaction with payers and providers, drug claim holds and rejects, and automated drug review rules development and maintenance
Estimate merchandise costs and purchase requisitions for prescription drugs, OTC, health foods and ethnic drugs. Analyze, investigate and resolve complaints regarding quality of products. Formulate pricing policies on merchandise to maximize profitability. Use Best RX and Best POS software.
· Estimate merchandise inventory using the gross profit method and the retail inventory method.
· When costs are assigned to the items on hand and these individual costs are added, a total inventory amount is calculated.
· Whether this dolor amount is correct? Should it be larger? How can one tell if the physical count is accurate? Being able to estimate this amount provides a check on the reasonableness of the physical count and valuation.
Express pricing on over-the-counter merchandise according to requirements profitability of store operations.

· By using illumination to feature products although create a frame display to provide the visual message about the merchandise offered in the store.

· Study the work problems and procedures for communication delay, information flow, inventory control and cost analysis.
Keep operating records and proper daily records of transactions for accounting purposes as per the company’s policies.
· Generate daily prescription log to track daily revenue and to maintain the inventory of all the medications.
· Make daily reports for OTC card, Debit card, Credit card and cash to perform the analysis of the transaction for the financial report.
· Settlement of all files provided by different insurance companies to evaluate the pharmacy claims.
Review Medicare part D to make sure the eligibility of patients for medications and ordering of medications as per insurance requirements.
· Review eligible patient their Medicare Part D plan card to obtain drugs.
· Help Patient to get the necessary information in order to bill your Part D plan from Medicare.
· Drugs that are covered under Medicare Part B continue to be covered under Medicare Part B. Part B should be billed before Part D.
· Pharmacy should utilize Part B as the primary payor, consistent with Medicare Part B billing instructions. In order to simplify access to the Part D drug benefit.
Confirm compliance of employee’s security and sales as per the company policies. Evaluate staff performances and create performance review reports for owner.
· Coordinate with the pharmacy staff scheduled --and assisted with personnel observing and performance evaluations.
· Examination charts in order to comply with the facility formulary.
· Conduct competency and performance reviews for pharmacy personnel
· Consult with personnel of organizational units to discuss the business plans and identify problems.
Analyze the departmental operational program on a continuing basis and make recommendations to the president for any changes thus ensuring smooth pharmacy operations.

To maximize the store profits, participate in the development of short- and long-term goals of the pharmacy’s mission. Although, operate records for daily basis transactions related to account department and maintain the accurate control on store inventory and labor cost.
· Generate reports for the outcomes associated with the medication use process and review patient’s eligibility for medications to make an order according to the insurance requirements.
· Explore the statements from vendors, banking statement and bills, collect money, balance registers, and check daily receipts to maintain the pharmacy budget to maintain all store protocols and procedures.
· Participate in the development of new product line and confer with the personnel of the company’s departments to discuss upcoming business plans; develop and install new programs and provide procedures and methods for operations and maximize profits.
· Coordinate sales promotion activities and direct merchandise display.
Coordinate with pharmacy staff in developing, implementing and monitoring company policies and procedures that reflect quality of health services by maintaining exceptional customer/patients’ relations.
· Loyalty with ideal professional practices, promote compliance according to the state/regional regulations and accreditation requirements (e.g. HIPAA)
· Distribute each employ’s duties to exercise better judgment in specific situations of the work atmosphere and govern if any part of the policy or procedure need reform.
· Resolve the customer care issues and complaints
Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs.
· The gross profit method of estimating ending inventory assumes that the percentage of gross profit on sales remains approximately the same from period to period. Therefore, if the gross profit percentage is known, the dollar amount of ending inventory can be estimated.
· The retail inventory method is another way to estimate cost of goods sold and ending inventory. It can be used when items are consistently valued at a known percentage of cost, known as a mark-up. A mark-up is the ratio of retail value to cost.
Bachelor’s degree is required in Management or Operation Management or Business Management.
